RE: raptor 3612 quality control issues

We love our 09 3612DS, only one thing was wrong, a wire came off of the gen, fixed it myself, easy, just pushed it back on. took off panels when I ran the water, but NO leaks, drips or runs. Moved breakers around to even out the ele, split A/C and ele water heater and mic, I will use the gas side of the water heater but had to split it just in case on the gen and using ele water heater and AC. and mic. The 2nd set of bat's sounds great, I have two 6 vot dc now. could put 4 more in if needed. or I could put in two 40 lb propane tanks in that compartment. will see where I am going camping and what I need, gas or bat.AND who pays that much for an Raptor 3612DS. got my 5th for under 40 g's

How rough of a ride is it in the back?

Does anyone know how much bounch thier is in the back where the toys sit in the 5th wheel like the one I have. 3 axles 36 foot TH. The holdDowns screws don't look to tough, little screws hold down the racks that I strap down the 4wheeler, yes there are lots of screws, one every 6" on each side. is it worth it to put shocks on the axles? 2 on each axle?

RE: Watch the height restrictions

My 5th will be here tomorrow. I need to know where or what I can get to plan my route first before I head out, (book or CD) the 5th I am getting is 13'2" tall. I drive an 18 wheeler but just around St. Louis, never off the main Hyways.

RE: 09 KEYSTONE RAPTOR 3612DS is showing up 31 May

I got this chunk of Land just out of town. Just 4 miles south of St. Louis mo on the IL side on Rt. 158. In 5 years I plan to retire for the 2nd time and headout working at campgrounds and using this place to stop by when I just want to kick back. right now we will be hauling pugs to dogs shows, She does this, I just walk around and watch all of the crazy people at the show. My toys dont take up to much space, (guns) I will heading down to knob Creek KY for the the big gun show/shoot this spring and fall. for now we will be camping here at the campground to test what we need, and it is only 2 miles from home. so she can go take care of the dogs at home.

09 KEYSTONE RAPTOR 3612DS is showing up 31 May

Hi All,
Just had to tell someone, Wife's and My new toyhauler will be at my camp ground tomorrow. Because it is bigger then my TT. I had to cut down limbs comming into the campgrounds, put in an 50 amp plug and clear a spot at my campground I made. I cleared out a old house, did some ground work like removed 5 trees, put in 4 water outlets, 6 power outlets sewer dump and 500 tons of rock and now I have myself my own camp sites. My dad moved in with his 5th wheel (he heads south when it gets cold). I have my TT there. the guy that help me put up the 50' by 100' shed next to the camp sites has his 40' new pusher and yes thier is a very big spot for my new toy hauler. When I get them in, I will post pic's.

RE: Hitch For Long Bed

I am looking for a hitch and the Reese signature series is one I like. This will be my first 5th hitch. At my Job I have a much larger 5th wheel. It comes with 18 wheels and a 9500 gal fuel tank, but back to the hitch. the Reese signature series 18k is what I like. Well see if anyone around here has one for a New Dodge 3500.

RE: Newby

We are looking at a raptor 3612DS Toy Hauler. Love the layout, We are not going to haul anything heavy in the back, just our 7 pugs. (yes 7, show dogs) but it will work out fine for us. and I love my 6.7 dodge (TDR is the way to go, look it up on the web and join if you have a dodge diesel)

Looking at WW LED3505 2008

Hi All,
The wife and I Are looking at the Weekend Warrior Wide Body LED 3505 5th wheel. It has what we are looking at for a toy hauler. And It will fit into my 100' by 50' shead with my old camper with lots of room for the winter here in IL. With the fuel/gas prices and the sale of campers down and banks leanding money at low cost. it may be the time to get one.
